What Keyhouse is

Keyhouse is a place to advertise property and to find it. We are not a party to any sale, tenancy or agreement made between people who meet here, and we take no commission on one.

What we ask of advertisers

That the property is real, that you have the right to advertise it, that the photographs are of that property, and that the price is the price you will accept enquiries at. Every listing is read by a person before it appears.

What we will remove

Listings for property the advertiser has no right to sell, listings using photographs taken from elsewhere, duplicates of a property already advertised, and anything intended to obtain money from somebody who has not seen the property.

Suspension

An account may be suspended, with a reason given and an end date, and the decision may be appealed. Suspension takes listings off the site; it does not delete them, and it does not stop you replying to people you were already talking to.

Paid placement

Paid placement reorders a listing in results. It does not give it a badge, hide anything else, or exempt it from review. Payment is by bank transfer and a listing is boosted once the transfer has been confirmed, not when it is declared.

Liability

We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, and we do not guarantee either. Verify a property, a deed and a person yourself before parting with money. See Staying safe.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka.
