What we hold

Your name, email address and phone number; the listings you post; the properties you save and the searches you save; the messages you send here; and which listings you have viewed, so an advertiser can be told how their property is doing.

Your phone number

It is never published. A buyer sees it only when they tap to reveal it on one of your live listings, and we count that reveal so you can see how much genuine interest there is.

A property address

The suburb and the map pin are public, because they are what a buyer searches on. The street address is not, and is released only once you confirm a viewing with someone.

What we count

Views, reveals, enquiries and saves, aggregated per listing per day. An advertiser sees the numbers. They do not see who you are.

Emails

You choose which you get, one kind at a time, and every alert has an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Security emails — a password change, a new sign-in — are the exception and cannot be turned off.

Who else sees it

Nobody. We do not sell data, we do not sell leads, and we do not pass your details to advertisers beyond what you deliberately send them in an enquiry.

Closing your account

Your listings come down and your details are removed. Messages you sent stay with the person who received them, because their copy of a conversation is theirs.
